HCL EduME educational summit reaches Andhra Pradesh

HCL Infosystems Limited, India’s premier hardware, services and ICT system Integration Company today held the “EduME’ educational series in Andhra Pradesh (AP) with the introduction of HCL ME Series 50 to the students of AP. HCL ME Series 50 is a customised range of laptop designed to meet the students need. Available with easy finance options, HCL ME Series 50 is expected to propel the PC adoption through easy accessibility in the state. The easy finance option will also be available for the existing range of notebooks. In this congregation of academicians & technology experts, the company shared a focused approach towards increasing ICT adoption and accessibility in the education system of the state. The summit has witnessed participation from more than 70 management and engineering colleges of the state. The summit kickstarted in Bhopal last month and is scheduled to reach out every state to accelerate ICT adoption in the education system.
During the ‘EduME” educational meet, the company shared its plan to offer contemporary trainings for faculties and aspiring students of the state to improve the utilisation of technology for classroom teaching. HCL ‘EduME’ also showcased a platform for interactive discussions and knowledge sharing through seminars, forums and online ‘EduME’ portal for easy access and knowledge sharing amongst the student community across the country.

*EC2: A complete one button, data recovery mechanism for a student in case of system crash and data loss problems
*SPLIT ME: Where a student can share data (e.g. EBook) without worrying about the size of the file
*LOCK ME: Where a student can ensure privacy and avoid any data theft from the system. This feature ensures data cannot be copied on to external storage devices, USB memory sticks, CD optical disk drives, hard disk drive without getting authorisation from the user
